Ad-Ijounyan, Mali

Ad-Ijounyan (upper-right of image) is a circular escarpment in the Kidal Region of eastern Mali. The rocks composing the escarpment are Neoproterozoic to Cambrian plutonic or volcanics. Kidal, the chair municipality of the Kidal Region is located just off the right of this image.
