Air Mountains, Niger

The Air Mountains are located in central northern Niger, near the border with southeastern Algeria. The massif is composed of dark granitic intrusions that are generally circular in outcrop within older metamorphic rocks. The circular massif at the top of the image is Adrar Chiriet.
