Volta River, Ghana

The Volta River flows southward from northern Ghana to the southern coast and exits into the Gulf of Guinea in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. Also featured in this image are Sangor Lagoon (bright blue in the bottom center) and the Keta Lagoon Protected Area (right of the Volta River).
