Makran Thrust Belt, Pakistan

The Makran Thrust Belt is part of the larger Indo-Asian collision zone, which spans from Iran to the South China Sea. This area is north of the Makran Subduction Zone in the Arabian Sea. Though the boundaries are in some ways fuzzy, this area is essentially the boundary between the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate.
